This year marks 25 years of Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT) being present in Palestine. While we celebrate the friends we have made, the partnerships we have built and the community we are a part of, we somberly recognise the cost of war, the deep wounds inflicted by violence and the long journey of peacemaking.

In recognition of this anniversary and of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on November 29th, we will be dedicating this month and our Giving Tuesday campaign on December 1st, to advocating for Palestinian rights and lives.

Over the coming weeks, in preparation for Giving Tuesday, we will be sharing stories from the children participating in CPT Palestine’s “Through Their Lens” project. The project uses photography as a way for children to process the trauma of living under the Israeli occupation and to teach us more about their daily lives. These are the stories that matter.
