RISE UP! with the CPT Colombia Team

For the past 3 years, I have accompanied Human Rights Defenders and campesino communities who live with constant threats of violence. I have sat with farmers after they have been violently evicted from their land, I have offered physical accompaniment to leaders in the regions where there are paramilitary inclusions, and presence of armed actors, I have participated in public actions with our partners who are mobilizing against the alarming rate of feminicides in the region, these are spaces of peace that we need for transformation.

CPT has been my home, and the place where I can support grassroots organizations doing the hard work of real change in a place of war.
