Since arriving in Iraqi Kurdistan I have had many locals tell me how important the work that we do here is.

We visit villages affected by cross-border bombings, and amplify the voices of those people whose lives are being turned into an unofficial war zone.

We accompany civil activists and journalists who are being threatened daily by security forces, helping their stories get heard and raising international awareness.

We train facilitators in the Alternatives to Violence Program, running workshops in youth centres and for other organisations.

We build relationships to transform violence and relationships.
